The da Vinci Awards recognize the most
innovative developments and research in adaptive and assistive
technology that embraces the Universal Design principle. This
recognition drives the marketplace to stimulate investment in and
the development of further creative advances, ultimately enabling
everyone to participate and contribute in all aspects of society.
The awards process identifies individuals and corporations that
distinguish themselves as visionaries in the quest for equal access
and opportunity for all people regardless of ability. Since its
inception in 2001, the da Vinci Awards has become a prestigious
international symbol of recognition.
Proceeds from the da Vinci Awards benefit the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society, Michigan Chapter, Inc. Michigan has more
than 16,000 people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and the
Society knows first-hand the difficulties people experience when
faced with physical disabilities.
MS stops people from moving. The National
MS Society exists to make sure it doesn't.
