The da Vinci Awards raise money to help the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society achieve its mission of creating
a world free of MS, while increasing awareness of the benefits of
adaptive and assistive technologies for those with MS and other
disabilities. The da Vinci Awards recognize individuals,
organizations and corporations in the engineering, construction and
technical fields for innovative developments and research in
adaptive technology that embrace the “Universal Design Principal.”
Honoring exceptional design and engineering achievements in
accessibility and universal design that empower people of all
abilities.
The 2008 da Vinci Awards will be presented at a gala event on
Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn,
Michigan. The da Vinci Awards festivities will feature a cocktail
reception, gourmet dinner and awards program. |
